It's been a long time...

As I said, I didn't feel like blogging, nor scrapping actually. I just browsed the internet mindlessly (or in a more focused way, but usually mindlessly) and I don't like feeling that unproductive. So, back to good habits, here is what I plan to accomplish this week:

Zone of the week: kitchen

Monday:
  • morning routine DONE!
  • work: make sure I have taken next monday off DONE!
  • midday routine DONE!
  • wash and hang up 1 load of laundry DONE!
  • zone work: get kitchen back in order half done, I'll finish during my evening routine
  • 15 minutes on tagging digiscrap stuff DONE!
  • digi-decluttering (see below): e-mails and websites DONE! no unread RSS posts... in 50 minutes, and I still have to declutter RSS feed. I need more time for that task!! OKAY, all done, and deleting RSS feeds wasn't even painful! LOL

  • take dog out at night DONE!
Tuesday:
  • morning routine DONE!
  • midday routine DONE!
  • put away dry laundry won't get done today: it's not dry yet (I'm using a clothes line)

  • 15 minutes on tagging digiscrap stuff DONE!
  • digi-decluttering (see below) websites, e-mails and RSS reading done, e-mails and RSS feeds decluttering DONE!

  • evening routine DONE!
  • take dog out at night DONE!
  • and I even washed and hang up a load of laundry, and put away the dry clothes! YAY!!
Thursday:
  • morning routine DONE!
  • midday routine DONE!
  • zone work: pantry's middle two shelves DONE!
  • pick up house for cleaning lady tomorrow (if needed, but if I manage to keep up with my routines, this shouldn't be necessary!) NOT NECESSARY!! Woohoooo!!!
  • digi-decluttering (see below) websites, e-mails and RSS reading done, e-mails and RSS feeds decluttering DONE!
  • evening routine DONE!
  • iron while watching TV not done!
Friday:
  • morning routine DONE!
  • midday routine DONE!
  • zone work: pantry's bottom shelf
  • plan next week's menus and write down grocery shopping list
  • digi-decluttering (see below) websites, e-mails and RSS reading done, e-mails and RSS feeds decluttering DONE!
  • evening routine
  • take dog out at night
Every day, I will allow myself 30 minutes (maximum!) for the following digi-decluttering:
  • zero unread post in RSS reader + get rid of 10 feeds
  • no new unread e-mail + read 2 old ones
  • catch up on TDC + SSD
Hopefully I haven't been too ambitious and I'll be able to make everything I've planned. I'll keep you updated!

I don't feel like blogging...

I've spent the weekend rebuilding my computer that was agonizing since a couple weeks. The softwares were crashing one after the other, so this weekend DBF and I (well, mostly DBF) finally got it clean, reinstalled Windows and almost all softwares... Pfew, it wasn't fun neither quick, but it feels good no that it's done! Anyway, I've spent too many hours in front of a screen to feel like blogging about my weekly plan tonight! Hope you had a great weekend!

2010 resolutions

Yeah, I know we're in May, I haven't lost my mind... well, not completely at least! It's just that, as many many people, I took some New Year's resolutions, and still as many many people, I tend to forget about those on January 15th! To avoid that, I've broken my resolutions in monthly goals, which are much easier to track and hence stick to!

Here are my goals for May:
  • Personal stuff: happiness project
  • Healthy living: 20 minutes workout every day and track food at least 15 days in the month
  • Job: create procedures and routines
  • Finances: check with banks to see if we can set up a better system (fees, practical side, ...)
  • Housework and organisation: reformat computer and practice evening routines

Weekly Plan

Here are the things I wanna get accomplished this week:
Everyday:
  • 20 minutes bike workout or walking
  • morning routine
  • midday routine
  • evening routine
Monday:
  • laundry: pick up dry stuff, wash and hang up one load
  • cleaning desk
  • buy fresh bread for dinner
  • pick up meds
  • call hospital if I haven't gotten my prescription yet
Tuesday:
  • leave work early
  • doc appt
  • pick up food while coming back
Wednesday:
  • laundry: pick up dry stuff, wash and hang up one load
  • 15 minutes on PPW (filing, check up bank report)
  • declutter fridge and take garbage out
Thursday:
  • 15 minutes on health PPW (update after Tuesday doc appt, insurance stuff)
  • check next week's calendar, plan menus and write down shopping list
  • pick up house for cleaning lady tomorrow (if necessary)
Friday:
  • go grocery shopping

How cool!

I've finally finished to back up all the stuff I had on my computer (old RSS reader, evernote, documents, scrap) and I'm ready to reformat it and start fresh. It was really acting crazy recently so that is really necessary!

Oh, and I even completely decluttered my e-mail inbox! Woohooooo!
